BankMex is a fictional bank I created to showcase an Apple Watch app in my portfolio. My goal was to design an app that simplifies essential banking tasks directly from an Apple Watch. I chose bank transactions because even simple actions—like making a transfer or locking a debit card—can sometimes feel tedious. To solve this, I designed an intuitive and easy-to-use Apple Watch app for quick banking transactions.

"How can I make basic bank transactions easier with an Apple Watch?"
Users need a faster and more convenient way to handle their banking transactions from their Apple Watch. During the design process, I decided to focus on a single bank to streamline operations and create a seamless experience.
I started by sketching ideas using my iPad and FigJam, mapping out each screen of the process. The journey begins with selecting a debit or credit card, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user flow.
Before finalizing the UI design, I first structured the screens in grayscale to focus on layout and functionality without distractions. This step allowed me to refine the user flow and ensure a seamless experience before adding colors, typography, and branding elements.
